About Us

Northern Pines Realty
Purchasing Real Estate is the largest investment a person can make in their life. It's a purchase that will be their home. Real Estate that belongs to them and their family. A place that reflects their feelings, holds their belongings and becomes their sanctuary. This purchase can not be taken lightly. I get just as exited when a customer finds the house that fits their dream. Sometimes it is an unexpected find and many times it is a house they always wanted to call home. Our job at Norhtern Pines Realty is help people find a home they will be happy in, and for home sellers the next person to call their place their home.

Studying architectural design in high school, helping his father on a land development project in Connecticut, studying and installing solar heating systems in Florida. In Vermont, building and remodeling where Douglas created the designs and then built them. Douglas first studied real estate while attending Sacred Heart University. Then after moving to Florida, Douglas was a sales agent with Keye's Real Estate and then Classic Homes Investments, but New England was calling him back and in 1988 he moved to Vermont where Douglas learned every aspect of the building trade, framing, roofing, flooring, plumbing, electrical and heating. Douglas enjoyed knowing how things worked and what worked best. Douglas created Tall Pine Holding company to purchase, rebuild and lease a number of 1800s buildings in Windsor, West Windsor and Hartland. Both of these businesses led him back into real estate. With an established working relationship with many local realtors, Douglas first joined Seth Warren Real Estate and then Country Real Estate.
